The TABE™ Math Prep Class is a free daylong class designed to
help people improve certain “old school” math skills so that they can
raise their scores on the Mathematics Computation section of the
Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE™). The focus is on promoting
proficiency in: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of
decimals; long division; and percents—especially percents—without
the use of a calculator.
Pre-requisite: Pass a one-minute Times Tables Quiz
(Passing means scoring at least 80%. People who can’t pass the quiz can attend the Day of Remediation, on the same day, instead.)
