Meet our Board of Directors!

Helicon, Inc., the Mathematics Resource and Support Center for Females, a 501(c)(3) not-forprofit tax-exempt organization, was founded in 1999 for the purpose of helping females learn the mathematics—and "numbers-related" disciplines—they need to achieve their academic and career goals.

Since then, more than 7,500 women have attended classes and/or workshops conducted by Helicon, Inc. They are Asian-American, Black, Latina, and White from all five boroughs of New York City; their ages range from 18 to 74 years.

Helicon, Inc. has developed curricula, designed educational materials (e.g., manuals, mathematics problems and exercises, assessments, etc.) and conducted courses, classes or workshops in conjunction with the following organizations:
