  • Day of Remediation
    free day-long Class designed for people who need to improve their Times Tables

  • TABE™ Math Prep Class
    free day-long Class designed to help people improve certain “old school” math skills so that they can raise their scores on the Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE™) Mathematics Computation assessment. The focus is on promoting student proficiency in such topics as: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of decimals; long division; and percents—especially percents—without the use of a calculator.
    Pre-requisite for admission to the TABE™ Math Prep Class: Must be able to score 80% [no more than ten wrong/blank answers] in one minute or less on a Times Tables Quiz.
     

  • SAT Mathematics Test Prep Course for African-American and Latina Girls
    free four-week Course designed to help African-American and Latina girls improve their SAT Math scores.
    Pre-requisite for admission to the TABE™ Prep Class: Must be able to score 80% [no more than ten wrong/blank answers] in one minute or less on a Times Quiz.
     

  • Female Math Course
    free eight-week Course designed to help women pass the mathematics sections of such exams as: the GED math test, the CUNY Math Skills Assessment Test, the quantitative sections of the GMAT and GRE. It will also help women gain admission to “high-end” occupational-training or apprenticeship programs.
    Pre-requisite for admission to the Female Math Course:
    • Must attend one of two pre-Course Orientations on 08/31/10 or 09/02/10.
    • Must be able to score 80% [no more than ten wrong/blank answers] in one minute or less on a Times Tables Quiz.
