Our Mission:

to help females learn the mathematics—and "numbers-related" disciplines—they need to achieve their academic and career goals.

Reports

For the thousands of New York City females who are endeavoring either to earn a high school equivalency diploma or to be admitted unconditionally (i.e., without having to take costly and credit-worthless remedial courses) to college, mathematics is an insurmountable barrier.  Their need for a comprehensive preparation program like the Female Math Course is indisputable.  Two reports below show how desperate the situation is for those who first repeatedly failed the GED Mathematics subtest and are now repeatedly failing the TASC Mathematics subtest.  The third report shows that the situation, vis-à-vis mathematics, for female applicants to the CUNY college system is even more dire.  If only these women could just get a little help to "do the math," they could move on with their lives: seek decent jobs, apply to job training programs, or get into college!
